Proposed City Limits
The proposed boundaries for a city of Navarre would be described as thus:
North boundary: The southern bank of the East River and East Bay.
South boundary: The Gulf of Mexico.
Eastern boundary: The Santa Rosa/Okaloosa County line on the mainland and the western Eglin Boundary on Navarre Beach.
Western boundary: A north-south line from East Bay to the Sound just west of Edgewood Drive, and the Santa Rosa/Escambia County line on Navarre Beach.
These boundaries were established based on the boundaries of the six current voting precincts that make up Navarre and Navarre Beach. Using these precincts will make it easier to record the voting done within the city limits by the Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections and establish a useful basis for constructing City Wards in the future.
